This was a pertinent post. a fabulous article with an amazing level of detail! Dental health is an important part of your overall body health. It’s necessary to take good care of your teeth and gums to prevent cavities and gum disease. With proper preventative care, such as regular check-ups, brushing, flossing, fluoridation, and dental sealants, the risk of dental disease can be greatly reduced. – Jaime

I don’t think every dentist does sedation dentistry. The dentist has to complete a course to certify him or her in sedation dentistry before they can legally administer the sedation medications. However, most dentists do use Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) as that is not considered “conscience” sedation. When the gas is used the effects are immediately reversed by the administration of oxygen, so you can drive and return to your normal schedule. The oral sedation is much stronger and you will remember virtually nothing of the appointment.
