Apple Banana Single Sandwich

Delicate recipes for vegetarian eaters are a very popular activity these days, but it may be challenging for you to find the right vegan baking for you. This Apple Banana Single Sandwich vegetarian recipe will give you a way to jump into high gear so that you can participate in out of this world vegan cooking in no time.

Apple Banana Single Sandwich

What You Need:

  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 C carrots, shredded
  • 2 t lemon juice
  • 1/4 t lemon zest, grated
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 1 slice pumpernickel bread
  • 1 apple, sliced

How to Make It:

  1. Place the peeled banana in a small bowl.
  2. With a fork mash the banana well.
  3. Add the lemon juice and lemon zest.
  4. Mix into the banana well
  5. Add the carrots and stir making sure all is combined together.
  6. Place the lettuce leaves on the bread.
  7. Smooth the banana mixture over the lettuce.
  8. Top with 2 to 3 apple slices.

Note: Don’t be afraid to experiment by adding peanut butter on toasted whole wheat bread
